Florida ended in a rather terrible fashion as far as the weather was concerned. We received 6 inches of rain in 2 days, so the course was completely unplayable. Other then the weather for those 2 days the trip was excellent and very productive. It was great to be able to see where my game was after the winter and for when I arrived in California.
I spent the week in Ontario hitting golf balls at Devil’s Den in Brooklin and planning the Tyler Martin Classic. I have taken on more responsibility regarding the tournament planning and preparation this year. I was able to get a lot accomplished this week and will have to do a lot of the work while I’m on the road.
I arrived in California to my buddy Mike holding a sign saying “Gaylord”. I started laughing immediately! The flight into Sacramento was rather cool as I was sitting 2 seats from MMA fighter Urijah “The California Kid” Faber. He turned out to be a really cool cat, and was just as interested in my golf career as I was in his MMA career. I have been really lucky with the weather here in Northern California as it has been sunny and in the 70’s almost everyday! However, this week isn’t looking as promising as rain is forecasted for 3 days straight. Since the weather has been so nice, I have been able to get some great practice in as well as play a lot of golf. My game has been coming around and my confidence has been growing. I have had many rounds of 1 or 2 over with absolutly NO putts going in. I truly feel I am on the verg of shooting some great scores very soon. I have also had a tougher time then I had imagined ajusting to the new grooves in my wedges. They have caused me partcular trouble when I’m chipping and pitching the ball. The spin rates are completely different. The last 2 times I have played I have been under par which is a step in the right direction!
Hello all! I have been in Florida for 4 days now, trying to shake the winter rust off my golf game. I have been rather lucky that the weather has been much warmer since I have arrived. When I arrived last week they were having regular frost delays.
I’m currently sitting in the Brooksville Days Inn, reflecting on a hard days work on the golf course. I am traveling with Will Mitchell of Whitby who has played the Canadian Tour for the past 2 years as well. Will is participating in the Canadian Tour Florida Q-School trying to earn his card for the up coming year. I am fortunate enough to be able to practice at the 2 host courses while the golfers are playing. Anything to save a buck or 2…lol.
I have been working on all aspects of my game as they all really need it! A positive… I am making tons of progress. Jason Helman (golf coach) and I have been working on a few new things with my swing, but always trying to maintain what I have. The main part of my game I’m focused on this trip is getting my feel back… chipping and putting are the worst for this. 3 hours on the putting green today has pretty much erased the winter rust.
What began as an accident report that involved a celebrity with a controversial lifestyle has evolved into one of the biggest scandals this year. While the story is slowly laying low this is a follow up based on the stories previously touched on the subject of several websites. After only a few days since the accident of Mr. Wood, the number of women being linked to him has grown up to more than four alleged mistresses.
The list is as follows; the first is Rachel Uchitel, who works as a hostess in a New York club. This story stirred up the talks about the Woods affairs. She hired a celebrity attorney to clear her name with and announced a press conference which did not actually transpire. And the reason was never revealed.
Rumor has it that there were seven digit negotiations behind the cancellation. She was the first to be in the news and became very popular in tabloids for being the first mistress but recent revelations show earlier affairs between Tiger and other women.
The second Tiger Woods alleged mistress is Jamie Grubbs who works as a cocktail waitress in San Diego. She is also a former Tool Academy contestant. She claimed that she has proof of her affair with Tiger that lasted almost three years. She claims to have slept with Tiger for more than twenty times and that the relationship ended just recently in November 2009. She bared text messages, pictures and played saved voice messages from Tiger.
The third alleged mistress is Kalika Moquin who works as a Las Vegas club manager. Life & Style says she had a short-lived affair with Mr. Woods and that they hooked-up on several occasions when Woods was at Las Vegas. She does not confirm nor deny the allegation.
The fourth so called Tiger Woods mistress is Cori Rist who is a model. There are talks of Mr. Woods spending on her flights to some undisclosed locations for their meetings.
Mindy Lawton adds to the Tiger Woods mistress count. She works as a waitress near Tiger Wood’s Florida property. The contention is that Woods and Mindy do wild intercourse in his mansion when the wife is not at home.
The last on the long list of Tiger’s mistresses to date is Jamie Jungers who used to work for Trashy Girls Lingerie. Jungers claims to have met Woods during a promotional tour in Las Vegas for the Bellagio hotel and casino. The affair purportedly lasted for 18 months. Her story was sold to Britain’s Sunday Mirror, a British tabloid.
Ok, I can’t ignore it anymore. Seriously, they are talking about this more than people starving to death and not being able to afford Christmas presents because of the economy. What started off as a breaking news story about Tiger Woods going to the hospital because of a car accident has turned into something more. Way more. Let’s start from the beginning, shall we?

Tiger Woods gets into his 2009 black Cadillac Escalade after an argument with his wife, Elin. He is going less than 33 mph. He then crashes into a fire hydrant and then into a tree in his neighbor’s yard. Elin supposedly hears the crash from inside the house and rushes outside to help her husband. She has a golf club in hand and smashes the golf club into the back window of the car to help free her husband. Tiger crawls out of the car and goes in and out of conscious. He has facial injuries. Elin stays by her husband’s side not knowing if he will live or die. BULLSHIT!
Ok I have to admit when this story came out I had a feeling something was missing from the story, but all in all I felt bad for Tiger and I felt like Elin was crazy. That whole crashing into the tree thing? I knew that alcohol wasn’t involved but something or someone else must have distracted him. We all kind of knew that Elin probably had Tiger running from the house because she threatened to kill him with the golf club. But why? Hmmm….

We find out that the injuries Tiger Woods had on his face weren’t caused by the accident, but were on his face before he crashed. At least that’s what Tiger told one of the law enforcing Florida Troopers that showed up after his crash. The National Enquirer reports that Elin is believed to have literally “beat that bitch with a bat”.
The why is clear now; no woman would get that worked up over her man unless he was sleeping with another woman. Who is the other woman? TMZ reports that it’s Rachel Uchitel, who is the supposed woman Tiger and Elin were arguing about when the fight between the two of them started. Tiger and Rachel did meet when she was a hostess for him at a New York City club, but Rachel denies the whole sex thing. Why would you deny sleeping with Tiger Woods? Is Elin over-reacting? Hmm…..

Tiger and Elin Woods aren’t talking to anyone. They turn away reporters that come to their home. Why? It might be because Tiger is trying to wait until his scars heal and cover his tracks? Technically as far as we know, no crimes were committed and Tiger definitely wants to keep it that way.
See, this is where Tiger messed up. Once the cat is out of the bag you don’t just ignore it. I SERIOUSLY think Tiger should’ve come out with a statement. Yes it’s none of our business ( BLAH BLAH BLAH), but since it’s out in the open now you might as well set the record straight. Maybe if he had there wouldn’t be so many accusations flying around now.

Tiger isn’t talking to the police?!! WTH?! Well, he doesn’t really have to. He did have his lawyer stand outside his home and give his license, insurance, and registration forms to the police, which is required after an accident. But no more statements!
Although he DID praise his wife. He posted a statement on his website about the accident. “This situation is my fault, and it’s obviously embarrassing to my family and me,” the 14-time major golf champion said. “I’m human and I’m not perfect. I will certainly make sure this doesn’t happen again.”
Tiger is still going along with the whole accident story, saying that Elin acted bravely beating him, I mean, rescuing him from the car after the accident. Tiger is taking full responsibility for the accident. Police suspect Tiger might have been under the influence when he crashed into the tree. But that’s just a rumor; and no one ever listens to those things!

Finally we start getting some real details! Elin Woods moves out of the house and into another house down the street. I applaud her. She totally breaks the stereotype about white women not kicking ass. But on the bad side the police start investigating the domestic dispute and it’s starting to look like if this thing is investigated Elin will be facing some charges. No blood was found in the car during the crash, so it’s pretty certain that Tiger sustained his injuries BEFORE the crash. Also the police try to talk to Tiger again and for the third time he says no. He is also not letting the police look at his surveillance videos which were on outside during the whole thing. the police have no choice but to close the investigation into the accident for now.
Breaking News! A woman by the name of Jaimee Grubbs is claiming to have had a 2 year affair with Tiger Woods! What?!! And she has text messages to prove it. All of this would have been thought to be a scheme until the number is checked, it IS Tiger’s number!

Not so fast Tiger. You will need to implement a few critical steps in order to take your Michigan game down south. Now that it has been a month or two since you have played, you have lost a little touch and your golf muscles have tightened up.
1. You have just gotten off the plane and you have a tee time in 2 hours. You are in a rush to get your bags, get a limo and make it to the course in time to pick up a fancy logo golf shirt. While you wait for your bags to be unloaded make sure you use this time to do a few stretches. Yes, right there in the baggage claim area. If anyone looks at you funny, just growl and say “I eat small children”. You’ll have plenty of space to get loosened up after that.
2. Drink plenty of water on the flight down. Your water intake up north typically decreases during the winter months. But down south it is still warm enough for you to dehydrate faster than your parents burned doobies at a Grateful Dead concert.
3. Wear a lot of sunblock. #50 or higher. You won’t play your best golf if your face is on fire for the back nine.
4. Hit plenty of chip shots before you tee off. The grass down there is narly and grows in all directions. Kind of like Uncle Marv’s hairpiece. You will need to spend some time getting adjusted to how the ball bounces and spins around the greens. When the grass is growing opposite the direction you want your ball to go make sure you use more swing than you normally would. You will be surprised how much the grass grabs your club.

Reports are emerging about how his wife caught him texting his alleged mistress, sparking the violent row that led to his car crash.
Swedish swimwear model Elin Nordegren allegedly grabbed Woods’ phone and called nightclub hostess Rachel Uchitel to confront her, celebrity website TMZ reports.
According to media reports, a furious Ms Nordegren began arguing with Woods and broke the star’s phone.
She is then alleged to have chased him with a golf club, smashing up the foyer of the couple’s Florida mansion, according to reports.
It is rumoured Ms Uchitel and her representatives were in discussions with Woods and his management as recently as yesterday about a possible “cash-for-silence” deal.
Ms Uchitel, who has hired celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred to represent her, yesterday cancelled a press conference where she was expected to make a statement about her relationship with Woods.
Woods now faces one of the biggest celebrity divorce payouts in history. Us Weekly said sources put the prenuptial agreement signed in 2004 by Woods and Ms Nordegren – who met Woods while she working as a nanny for Swedish golfer Jesper Parnevik – at $US300 million
Following the allegations that Woods had affairs with Ms Uchitel and LA cocktail waitress Jaimee Grubbs, a third woman has been linked to the star.
The fallout from the controversy is is spreading, with John Ziegler, the pastor of the “First Church of Tiger Woods” – www.tigerwoodsisgod.com – announcing that he will dissolve the organisation because of the golfer’s “personal sins.”

Tiger Woods did not suffer facial lacerations from a car accident. They were inflicted by his wife, Elin Nordegren — according to a conversation Woods had Friday after the accident.
Tiger has yet to be formally interviewed by the Florida Highway Patrol — that should happen this afternoon. But we’re told Tiger had a conversation Friday — with a non-law enforcement type — detailing what went down before his Escalade hit a fire hydrant.
We’re told he said his wife had confronted him about reports that he was seeing another woman. The argument got heated and, according to our source, she scratched his face up. We’re told it was then Woods beat a hasty retreat for his SUV — but according to our source, Woods says his wife followed behind with a golf club. As Tiger drove away, she struck the vehicle several times with the club.
We’re told Woods became “distracted,” thought the vehicle was stopped, and looked to see what had happened. At that point the SUV hit the fire hydrant and then hit a tree.
We’re also told Woods had said during the conversation Friday he had been taking prescription pain medication for an injury, which could explain why he seemed somewhat out of it at the scene.

Wow not only does it seem Tiger got caught… and it also seems he tried to do the right thing by leaving a bad situation… but to crash and have it ALL over the news… Sucks to be him huh???
The Windemere Police Department says Tiger’s wife went outside, saw that her husband had struck a fire hydrant and a tree, and then went back inside the house for a golf club to use to try and extricate him from the vehicle. But we’ve learned Nordegren told a very different story to the Florida Highway Patrol, and it does not involve going back in the house for a club. Our sources will not allow us to be more specific.
And we’ve learned there was no blood found on the steering wheel of Tiger’s SUV — putting into serious doubt that Tiger sustained his injuries from the crash.
As we first reported, Tiger had a conversation with a friend yesterday, in which he said his wife had confronted him over reports he was involved with another woman … and that his wife scratched his face up during the argument. Tiger told the friend he then left the house, started driving off and his wife then came out with a golf club, striking the vehicle. Tiger then became distracted and hit the hydrant and then a nearby tree.
We’re told cops will interview Tiger and his wife later today.
UPDATE: A neighbor tells TMZ they saw cops show up at Tiger’s house this morning — only to get turned away again. Tiger’s wife, Elin, was spotted (below) driving out of the Isleworth subdivision in Windermere earlier today.
