Canadian Wide Open of Golf

Your champ golfer of the calendar year, Louis Oosthuizen, is in Sweden this week for the European Tour’s Nordea Scandinavian Wide open. Easily were Louis, I’d offer me personally the week off and just hold honoring succeeding the British Open.

The PGA Tour heads to Toronto for the RBC Canadian Open up. Which means it can be once more time to question the annual question: Can Paul Weir at last earns this tournament?

Answer: No. Weir simply isn’t actively playing well in 2010. He or she started off by using a sixth-place finish at the Bob Hope Old style, question then contains no Top 20s and delivers missed a number of his final 6-8 slices.

There are 13 Canadians in the area, and Stephen Ames is the one with the ideal shot to get his own national world-class. Ames is having a bit smarter calendar year than Weir; however he has not played out since the US Open.

The champ is Nathan Green, which conquer Retief Goosen inside a playoff a year ago. Both of them are back. Among the top players in the area are usually Ricky Barnes, Paul Casey, India Clark, Sam Lovers, Ben Crane, Luke Donald, Matt Kuchar, Rogue Mahan, Sean O’Hair and Camilo Villegas. Ruben Daly and David Duval are also enjoying.

The Canadian Wide open is one of the oldest tournaments on the PGA Tour. Check the tournament profile for the list of earlier champions plus tourney trivia and notes.
