Slightly Elongated Shaped 460cc Multi-Material Head
Slightly elongated head profile produces a driver with a higher moment of inertia resulting in straighter drives on off-center hits. The increased “footprint” also inspires more confidence over every drive.

Titanium Head with External Tungsten weight Pads
Ping engineers have utilized a titanium body and tungsten perimeter weighting to optimize the center of gravity location to create a high launch and low spin rate as well as increase the moment of inertia resulting in longer and straighter drives.

Ping Rapture V2 HybridPING engineers relied on the density of a tungsten sole plate in the design of the Rapture V2 Hybrid Series. The sloped crown design and the 112 gram tungsten sole- which represents 48% of the club head’s mass- allows the CG (center of gravity) to be positioned lower and farther back from the face. A larger head profile and longer face increase the moment-of-inertia for improved accuracy and confidence.

Enlarged Multi-Material Head

A large shallow head profile provides these fairway woods with a high moment of inertia for greater stability and added forgiveness. The head design makes it effortless for golfers of all levels to launch the ball with a high, strong trajectory. These fairway woods will inspire confidence no mater the conditions.

17-4 SS Head with Tungsten Alloy Sole
Ping engineers have utilized a 17-4 stainless steel body and tungsten alloy sole (34% of club head mass) to position the center of gravity in a spot that optimizes the launch and spin resulting in high launching fairway woods off the turf while maximizing distance off a tee with reduced spin.

soft techniques to avoid strong hit

Many beginners have a strong subjective that hit the ball farther, which means make the ball fly very fastly and continue to forward roll in the fairway to get more distance, it can be right, but sooner or later we all have to face such a situation that if a strong hit, the ball may be flying or rolling overdone. In fact, we must learn some “soft techniques” to avoid it.with a more gentle way we will get accurate trajectory and impact point. This is not only the technique for short game techniques but also for long ones

we need #3 Ping G10 Fairway Wood  or shorter clubs in face of narrow fairy for better control, but must try to swing and hit well. If it is the against the wind,we must lower the ball flight trajectory, then you can use Ping G10 Driver  with a smaller head angle.Lower grip about 1 inch, with conventional height to frame ball, keep the ball in the left heel, do a slow 3/4 back swing, keeping the left heel closely aligns the ground.buttocks and feet must have sufficient rotation when down swing but should not release wrist but maintaining body footwall driven arm pull down the club and wept hitting point. Result is a safe, flies low and along by left right ballistic perverse and flight ball, after landing forward continue scroll.

If the ball goes into rough of the green side but there is no enough green grass to keep the ball rolling,we should down our pitching wedge and use sand wedge to hit the ball up the green.we need to use open stance when aiming the ball slightly and open the Titleist Vokey Spin Milled Oil Can Wedge  face, which is as same as hitting explosive bunker ball.Swing should be long and low,and early buckle wrist, the down swing shuold be slow and stable but not slow down.Stroke should be one inch behind the ball entered the place to head, and slides the ball at the bottom, and then complete your impact. This will hit the ball fly, without too much spin, allowing a gentle landing.

While everyone likes to use irons(Ping G10 Iron Set) the ball high and far, and this is normal play. However, if the kickoff is not ideal, next shot must be hit under the tree, we must learn to hit chip.Take 5-iron(Ping G10 Iron Set)as an example, it can get a distance of 100 yards: lower grip a little and faster on the bar than usual, hit the ball sharply, end with slight Follow through. If you want the ball landing heavier and roll farther then hands should also be pressed forward to reduce the head angle. While this method moves faster, but the whole process is gentler than conventional method.

Picture for Ping G10 DriverThe market leading G15 driver was a hard act to follow, but with the Ping G10 driver we think Ping have managed to improve the best even more. The first thing you notice is that the head is deeper front to back and also taller. This has been achieved by some jiggery-pockery in the design to stay within the 460cc limit and it gives you immense confidence at address. The love-it-or-hate-it crescent on the crown is a even more subtle than before and the new colour scheme looks very good. Performance is what it is all about and the new G10 driver delivers big time. With the weight a little further back it gets the ball airborne with low spin on a great trajectory. Compared to the G5 it is slightly lower and certainly much lower than the G2. There is a new range of shafts with the G10 and we found the standard TFC129 that Ping has designed for them to be very good, but as always make sure you get custom fitted. If you are in the market for a driver, then you won’t go far wrong if you choose the Ping G10.

Ping Rapture Driver

The Ping Rapture driver is one of the best composite drivers we have tested. The look and feel of the club is very similar to the excellent Ping G5, but that is where the similarities end. Ping have ‘maxxed-out’ on all the available technologies for the Rapture range and the driver is no exception. Due to the lighter head, the face is more forgiving with a higher launch angle and less spin. Certainly it is very easy to hit and makes a more solid quieter sound than the all titanium G5 driver. The head design with the titanium lattice below the graphite looks good to us, but after a few hits you don’t notice the looks, just the benefits. The result of this technology means that it is longer, with initial estimates make it around 7 yards longer than the G5. However these extra yards come at a cost as the Ping Rapture will be a premium priced driver, so start saving!

The Ping Rapture Hybrid has a combination of a 17-4 stainless steel body, tungsten nickel sole plate and 475 super steel face that raise hybrid performance to new levels of distance, forgiveness and control. The thin, super steel face provides a hot, responsive hitting area and allows Ping engineers to re-distribute weight in the form of tungsten nickel on the sole. The Ping Rapture Hybrid’s heavier sole plate positions the centre of gravity low and away from the face for higher launch and low spin–resulting in high, penetrating trajectories for longer, softer landing approach shots. The sloped crown—first introduced on the popular G5 Hybrid—also aids in increasing the launch angle and reducing spin. Ping Rapture Hybrid’s have a large head and a trailing edge relief design provides control from any turf condition. The shape and thickness of the sole plate extends weight to the perimeter for maximum forgiveness.

The latest in Ping’s G range of fairway woods the Ping G15 Fairway wood updates the hugely popular G10 model and shares many of the improvements seen in the Ping G15 driver. The G15 has an elongated head design which means the clubhead is longer from back to from to provide stability and forgiveness and increase the moment of inertia, or MOI. The G15 also features an external sole weight pad which redistributes weight at the bottom of the clubhead and helps move the centre of gravity lower and further back in the club to provide both a high launch rate and a very low spin rate. Ping have also introduced a new low profile design with the G15 fairway woods which is not only pleasing on the eye and inspires confidence but also helps to move the centre of gravity much lower in the clubhead. The Ping G15 Fairway wood is available with a TFC 149F or Aldila Serrano 75 Fairway shaft.

The Ping G15 fairway wood shares a lot in common with the G15 driver including the external sole weight pad and a slightly longer head design which Ping says increases the MOI compared to the G10. The biggest visual change is the low profile design that features a shallow face that further lowers the centre of gravity to help increase that MOI. In our tests the G15 fairway wood performed very well and the sound and feel at impact was much more solid than the G10. At address it looks great with the new alignment aid first used in the Rapture woods, which thankfully replaces the moon graphic from previous G fairways. Visually the changes to the Ping G15 are not as noticeable as the performance changes, which give a good strong flight that can be moved left and right. Whilst this club is aimed at all golfers we feel it is ideal for mid to high handicappers as the forgiveness and trajectory are excellent. For those who want a slightly lower flight then we would recommend trying out the excellent Ping i15 fairway wood.

magic!

The Ping G15 Hybrid represents the biggest change from the G10 range with a unique new iron/hybrid design ensuring that this is a club which launches the ball high while keeping the spin rate low. The high launch is achieved by moving the hosel further away from the club’s centre of gravity which, thanks to the unique design, is much closer to the clubface than in most hybrids. Stability and forgiveness are increased by using a large toe pad to provide the Ping G15 hybrid with a much more iron like weight distribution that helps to significantly increase the MOI of the G15 compared to the G10. Ping have also removed almost all the bulge and roll from the clubhead to give that iron like feel and look at address. The design also helps to increase accuracy of the G15 and reduces dispersion on hits across the entire clubface. The Ping G15 hybrid comes with a choice of TFC 149H or Aldilo Serrano 85 Hybrid shafts.

Ping G15 hybird

Ping TFC 149 H: has been designed specifically for the Ping G15 hybrids. It features light weight materials along with progressive weight, torque and flex profiles to increase club head speed and greater distance. The TFC 149 H helps optimise launch for amazing accuracy, control and feel.

Ping G15 hybird

Aldila Serrano : is ideal for players seeking a lower launch and spin. The Serrano shaft is a premium shaft which will play slightly stiffer than the TFC 149 H shaft for stronger players prefering an overall lower ball flight.
