Low Price Clicgear 2.0 Push Golf Cart

Fits into the Porsche Boxster

I have purchased a number of golf pushcarts and a few important criteria for me are: smoothness (easy to push), stability (doesn’t flip over), convenience (has necessary features, brakes, holders, etc.), look (not so dorky), and recently one new criterion has become extremely important: size! I can’t fit any other carts into my Porsche, which has a tiny little trunk in the front. This ClicGear is the only that fits. Plus it works great and looks fantastic!

Lowest Price Leupold GX-I Digital Golf Rangefinder

Does what it should

I am a golfer working on lowing my handicap (high teens currently) and purchased this as I have problems determining the depth of the pin on the greens as I play a variety of courses and they all have different flag theories on green locations and some of the courses do a good job on distance marks and others not so much. This rangefinder does exactly what it is supposed to do and with the “pinfinder” aid, it is very simple to use and gets me a very accurate reading very quickly.

Cheapest UPro Golf GPS By Callaway Golf

Junk

This item is advertised as Mac compatible, but it was not compatible with my Leopard 10.5.8 Operating System. After downloading files a Customer Service Representative sent, I was able to initialize the uPro and download 4 courses after paying $120 for 50 courses. I took the device out to play the next day, but turned it off after a couple of holes because it didn’t offer any information that I didn’t already have on the Cart’s GPS Screen. As I was leaving the course, I tried to turn it back on to show a friend. It was dead. So, I immediately returned it to Amazon. However, uPro is refusing to refund the 4 courses that I downloaded, so I am in a Credit Card Dispute with them, which I will easily win since the information was never used and I returned the device. Advice – don’t buy this piece of junk.

Discount SkyCaddie SG5 Golf GPS (Black)

Still The Best GPS For Accuracy

I do pay an annual fee of $29.95 for all the courses in CA. The other 2 guys started to do some investigating why their units seemed to be inaccurate at times. The conclusion that we all reached is that SkyCaddie is the only manufacture that actually has people out there walking the courses and recording the data based on where they are standing in relationship to the GPS readings they get. Seems the other companies base their measurements on ariel data and mapping programs. Here is a quote from one of those manufacturers in their FAQ section regarding how they collect their data: “The (product name) golf course data is collected from aerial and satellite imagery from various vendors. We then use that imagery to digitize the course feature. Once complete, course routing and scorecard information is assigned for each hole”. Also if you read the fine print that free course data without a fee could someday have a fee, “At the current time, we are offering map updates to include new and updated courses at no charge. At some point in the future, it is possible that (company name)will begin to charge a nominal fee for course updates”. Again they aren’t saying you will defiantly be paying a fee someday, just that it is possible. Probably the lawyers had them throw that in just to cover their butts, so its probably not a concern. Last Saturday the other 2 guys both showed up with a new SG5 (bought on Amazon), their other units are now listed on Ebay. And we all have the same yardage now all the time. Our buddy with the laser gets his measurement to the pin and it takes in account the slope, nice if you can see the pin. Also my hands shake too much when using the laser. The SG5 won’t improve your game if you don’t have consistent distances nailed down with your clubs, but if you do you will see more balls on the green, not short or off the green.

Great starter set for beginning golfers

I’m a beginning golfer and I found this set to be everything that I’ve needed. It comes with:

1 Oversized Driver (460cc)
1 Fairway Wood (15 degrees 3-Wood)
2 Hybrids (4H and 5H)
5 Irons (6-PW) – 6,7,8,9,PW
1 Putter
4 Head Covers (for the Driver, Wood, and Hybrids)
1 Stand bag

The clubs feel great; the bag is thin but looks well-constructed. Overall a great value, and would recommend it to others looking for a solid set that could get the job done well and at a great price.

Tiger Woods fined $164

Tiger Woods will be cited for careless driving in a car crash outside his Orlando-area mansion, but will not face criminal charges, the Florida Highway Patrol said on Tuesday.

Tiger woods

Woods faces a 164 US dollars fine and four points against his driver’s license, not close to enough to have it suspended.

The citation closes the investigation of last week’s crash.

According to an accident report, Woods crashed his SUV into a fire hydrant and a tree at 2:25 A.M. (US time) on Friday.

The airbags did not deploy and Woods’ wife told Windermere police she used a golf club to smash the back windows to help him out.

Woods withdrew on Monday from his own golf tournament, citing injuries from the crash.

Since the accident, tabloids and gossip Web sites have fuelled speculation about the…  Read More….
